If AI has made your work faster this year, three things to note before your next review
Keep your own record of what the machine saved you, and ask how your employer counts it.
Write down what got faster. Pick two or three tasks and put a rough before and after against each. A number carries further in a review than a feeling.
Write down where the time went. More work, better work, or an earlier finish. If nobody else is keeping track, your note is the record.
Ask how your employer counts it. If your firm reports savings or productivity from AI, it is fair to ask how the figure was worked out and what it means for your team's workload.
