The Playbook — Morning
I. Watch what the speech leaves out. Burnham sets out a decade-long economic plan this afternoon; listen for whether it names what's happening to entry-level work, not just where decisions get made. That absence is the real test of whether the platform is built for this decade.
II. Know what your pension actually holds. A jittery week in AI shares is a good prompt to read your workplace fund's factsheet and see how much of it rides on the same handful of companies — information worth having, not a reason to move anything.
III. Check whether the ban reaches you. South East Water's hosepipe limits start on 3 July; if you're a customer it's worth knowing what they ask before the weekend rather than after.
The Quernal provides general information, not financial, legal or career advice. Decisions should be made on your own circumstances, with regulated advice where appropriate.
Process not position — three moves drawn from the morning's pieces.
