Three moves for a Tuesday.

Don't act on the oil headline. Crude has fallen, but your pump price and energy bill move weeks behind it, and only if the ceasefire holds. If a fuel or energy decision is pending, get current quotes rather than assume the relief has arrived.

Mark Thursday. The Bank of England's rate decision lands on 18 June. If you're near the end of a fixed mortgage, this is the week to check your dates and ask your broker what a hold — or a move — would mean for you, not to guess at it.

Look up your own org chart. If you manage a team, the squeeze now reaches the middle, not just new hires. Ask where the unfilled roles already are in your building before the next budget round asks for you.
